I finished the 1 month free trial of youcam and today decided to pay for the upgrade since my trial expired. So I paid, got charged, got my confirmation email and clicked the download link and it won't give me the product I paid form. Some window pops up and says it can't download because I must be running one of the following versions: 5.0/6.0/7.0.8.0. What the hell does that mean? Why does your program not work when you pay for it, and how can I get my money back?
Looked like a warning, and thought it would just limit, I was dumb. Now YouCam does not work and I need to fix it, but cannot figure it out how.

Close Cyberlink YouCam and then go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera. Enable the Camera access and then locate the application in the list. Tap the button to enable it, then restart the application and it should have access to the camera again.
Since the videos are stored on your hard drive, you need a professional recovery application that can search deep layers of your hard disk to retrieve the file. Recuva is a good example and it's a free to use application. Download and install the application, then specify the type of file which the software will look for and the path. All the recoverable items will have a green marker. Search through the files for your video and recover it to another destination on your hard drive.
YouCam requires a webcam attached to the PC or an integrated one in order to function properly because this is the main requirement for this application. Check Device Manager to see if the webcam is installed properly. After this operation, click on the settings icon and choose the integrated webcam to be used with the program. Restart it and it should work.
